Canon MP280 is inexpensive. Its price is a tempting offer for users who keep a tight leash on their budgets, but its high ink cost would probably make many users think twice about buying the multifunction printer.

A multifunction printer means that it is a machine with a number of key functions, and Canon MP280 has three such functions embedded in its all-black body. Don’t expect too much, though. Each of the functions doesn’t provide more than basics, which is not a surprise considering the low price. The main components of Canon MP280 are divided into front view, rear view, inside view, and operation panel. There is a single rear tray with a paper support. 100 sheets is the maximum amount the rear tray can hold at a time.

The output tray is at the front, which opens automatically when the printer or copier starts working. It is complemented with a tray extension to support the ejected papers so that none of them goes tumbling to the ground.

A control panel is positioned on top of the printer next to the flatbed scanner. Whenever you need to scan a page, the document cover must be opened first. The glass plate is the only method for scanning pages, which shouldn’t be a problem for users who never scan more than a few pages at a time.
