Print as many photos as you need with Epson R350, which relies on six ink cartridges to deliver reasonably high-quality output. Its full support for PictBridge and USB Direct Print allows digital camera owners to print their shots with ease even without the help of a computer.

Epson R350 also supports printing directly from memory cards assisted by a 2.4-inch LCD screen surrounded by a set of useful buttons which trigger different actions when pressed.

Features and Highlights

Epson R350

The LCD screen, as well as the control panel, enables users to print photos without turning on their PCs. It has an intuitive graphical interface that helps users to access the built-in menus, display image thumbnails, preview photos, and play a slide show of photos.

The screen can display up to 9 photo thumbnails at once. The view can be switched to one-photo preview by pressing the zoom in button. If you’d like to view all photos stored on a memory card in a slide show, select the appropriate option and press the OK button to activate it. The same button can be used to pause and resume the slideshow, and when you want to stop the screen from displaying the photos in sequence, just press the back button.

Five memory slots are available, supporting various kinds of memory cards. When a memory card is inserted, you can print all of the photos or a few of them or just a single photo.

If you have a digital camera which supports DPOF, you can pre-select the photos in the camera, and then insert the memory card into the printer. A message will show up, asking you to confirm if you are really going to print the pre-selected photos. Select Yes, press OK, configure the print settings, and press Start to begin printing.

Photos that are stored on a memory card can also be transferred to a connected PC or external storage device to free up some space for new shots. There is a USB port on the front of the printer that can be used to connect an external device. If the device contains photos, they can also be printed directly without using the computer.

If you plan to back up photos, it is recommended to do it before printing anything or wait until the current print job is finished. And if you already insert a memory card, do not insert another one. The connected memory card should be ejected first before another card is inserted. Also, don’t forget to close the memory card slot cover after a memory card is inserted.

When a cartridge is empty, Epson R350 cannot print until you replace the cartridge with a new one. Even if the other cartridges still have some ink left, the printer will still refuse to print. So, if you’re going to print several photos, you may want to make sure that there is still enough ink to print them, which you can check through the LCD screen.
