Microsoft Toolkit is a collection of tools for managing the activation of two of the most popular Microsoft products, namely Windows and Microsoft Office. Simply put, it is an activator.

Product activation has long been used to verify if Windows or Microsoft Office that is installed on a computer is genuine. Users can still work with both without going through the activation but the functionalities will be stripped down after a certain period. Therefore, activation is a must, and Microsoft Toolkit makes it easier.

Features and Highlights

Microsoft Toolkit

Microsoft Toolkit is a portable software. This means anyone can use it immediately without having to install it first. Its small size allows even those who suffer from slow internet connection to download it quickly.

Immediately after you double-click on the executable file, it greets you with an information console displayed in the middle of your screen which contains an instruction on what to do next: either click the Office button or Windows button, depending on which product you need to activate.

Clicking the Windows button will open the Windows toolkit that contains several tabs that include Main, Activation, Product Keys, and License Backup. The Main tab contains information about the currently installed Windows such as the version number and product edition.

The Main tab in the Office toolkit shows the same kind of information on a computer where a Microsoft Office is already installed. What makes it a little bit different is that there is an uninstaller that you can use to remove the existing Microsoft Office. This uninstaller is intended to assist users when the normal installation procedure fails to get rid of the Microsoft product.

In the Activation tab, it contains a number of activation tools and functions such as AutoKMS, AutoKMS Custom Task, AutoRearm, KMS Server Service, and EZ-Activator. If you don’t know anything or need to get some more information about any of the tools and functions, you can click the Readme button to read the documentation.

In the Product Keys tab, you can install or remove a product key. Check System is a function that checks product key found in the system, and Check Key List is a similar function that checks product keys by using a dialog window called Batch Product Key Checker. This window can find the keys from two sources: the Windows clipboard or a selected file.

The Customize Setup tab is where you can extract and modify Microsoft Office setup file, create an ISO file, and run a deployment tool called Microsot’s Office Customization Tool.

There are more tools and functions available in Microsoft Toolkit. For example, the License Backup tab where you can back up the licensing information of Microsoft’s product so that it can be restored later anytime you need to. There is also the ability to add or remove one or more languages from Microsoft Office that has multiple language packs.

Microsoft Toolkit is perhaps not the most straightforward activation tool for Microsoft Office and Windows, but it gives you more options to do more than just activating the products. You can click the link below to download Microsoft Toolkit for Windows 10 / 11:
