37 years after the first version of Illustrator was introduced to the public, Adobe has released Illustrator 2025. A lot of features have been added since then. Adobe Illustrator 2025 has a special toolbar for beginner. Only the most important tools are displayed on it. What’s more, the tools are arranged into different groups based on their functions: Draw for drawing tools, Type for text tools, Color for color tools, Select for selection tools, and so on.

There are other toolbars besides the Getting Started toolbar. Users can switch between them as needed or customize a toolbar by removing unnecessary tools and adding frequently used tools to work more efficiently.

Preview Missing Fonts

Anyone who use Illustrator 29.3, the latest version as of this writing, can create a file containing embedded fonts and save it with the option **Embed permitted fonts for file preview** enabled. If the file is shared with someone else, the recipient can open the file in the original fonts even if the fonts are not installed in his or her computer.

Image Trace

The ability to convert raster images to vector artworks with little effort is one of the most powerful features available in Illustrator. It offers a number of tracing presets to simplify the conversion process, which include Auto Color, High Color, Low Color, Black and White, Grayscale, and Outline.
