The Brother MFC-7360N is a laser printer that combines a mono printer, mono fax machine, mono copier, and color scanner into a single device suitable for a small office. It can be connected to a wired network to be shared among multiple users.

Its high capacity paper tray, automatic document feeder, print speed, recommended monthly print volume, and optional high yield toner cartridge show that the machine is a good fit for an office with medium duty needs.

Features and Highlights

The design of this Brother MFC-7360N should come as no surprise to everyone who has seen or own a Brother printer of the same type. There is a bulge at the top to accomodate an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) that can handle up to 35 sheets. The unit can be used to scan, copy, and fax multipage documents.

A flatbed unit is also available to scan a single sheet at one time. It is obviously not as efficient as the ADF in handling multiple sheets, but it is the most ideal option to handle media that need extra caution.

At the front of the printer is a control panel with a 2-line LCD screen. If you find it difficult to read because of the low contrast, you can increase the brightness level to the maximum.

The Brother MFC-7360N has a multipurpose paper tray for a thicker media. Below the tray is another paper tray with a capacity of up to 250 sheets.

Print speed is up to 24 pages per minute. There is no duplex unit, but the printer still lets you print on both sides of a paper from a connected PC. The recommended monthly print volume is 2000 pages. The highest print resolution it supports is 2,400 x 600 dpi.

Copy speed is up to 24 copies per minute and resolution is up to 600 x 600 dpi. Its first copy out time score is less than 11 seconds, and it is capable of making 99 copies of a page. Also, the copier can copy four pages on to a single sheet. Although it is not as flexible as the N-up Printing feature of the printer which lets you compress a lot more pages on to a single sheet, it is still a nice option to have as it can help cut paper cost a bit more.

The Brother MFC-7360N comes with a starter toner package rated at 700 pages. Standard toners and high yield toners are available to replace it. The former option can be used to print up to 1,200 pages, and the latter has enough to print up t0 2,600 pages.

Text quality is not something to worry about. The Brother MFC-7360N is not the best laser printer you’ll ever find in the market, but its text quality is good. Even with the Toner Save mode enabled, text pages are still readable.
