The Brother HL-L2360DW is the upgraded version of the Brother HL-2270DW. Both are designed for printing black and white documents at laser speed, but the newer model offers a few more features for a small office.

A starter toner is included in the box which will deplete sooner depending on how often you print. But once it is empty, you can replace it with a standard or high-yield toner cartridge which lasts longer.

Features and Highlights

One of the best features of the Brother HL-L2360DW is its paper handling. There is a paper cassette at the bottom of the printer which can be removed every time you need to refill it. Since it can hold up to 250 sheets of paper, you’d probably refill it less often, unless the printer is used by multiple users in an office.

Additionally, it has another paper input tray, which is a multipurpose one. It only holds one sheet of paper at a time but it is more versatile than the paper cassette because it can handle paper of different sizes.

Even better, the Brother HL-L2360DW supports automatic duplex, so printing on both sides of a paper can be done more efficiently. Duplexing is a preferable method to print documents for internal use as it can reduce the number of papers that are used for printing.

N-in-One printing method is yet another option available to save on paper. It lets you print several pages on a side of a paper. Combine this with the Toner Save mode, and you will be able to save on consumables even more.

If you’re interested in lowering the operational cost as much as possible in the long run, there is a high-yield toner cartridge which can produce up to 2600 pages. The starter cartridge only provides toner to print about 700 pages. As for the standard yield toner cartridge, it can last up to 1200 pages.

Buying the high-yield toner cartridge brings in another benefit. Since it has a lot more toner, it takes longer for the toner to be replaced, and thus there will be less downtime.

The printer can spit out up to 32 mono pages per minute, partly thanks to its 32 MB of internal memory and 266MHz processor that boost the speed. It is also designed to print up to ten thousand pages per month, with a recommended print volume as many as 250 to 2000 pages per month.
