Epson RX650 is an AIO inkjet printer without automatic document feeder and fax features, but it has a range of attractive features, such as support for PictBridge cameras and Bluetooth.
The inkjet printer also features a built-in 2.5-inch Photo Fine LCD monitor, letting users to print, copy, or scan with more ease. Users can complete these tasks either from a connected computer or the printer’s monitor, which displays a wealth of menus in an easy-to-use interface.
Features and Highlights
Print speed is unfortunately not the major attraction of Epson RX650. With only 21 ppm for black pages on the economy mode and 40 seconds for a single 4×6-inch photo, it is slower than Epson RX590.
On the upside, printing photos can be done without a computer. Just connect your PictBridge cameras, Bluetooth devices, mobile phones, or memory cards to the printer. After that, use the LCD screen to select the photos that you want to print, and press the appropriate button to start printing.
The same goes for scanning and copying. These tasks can be done without a computer. Lift the top cover to reveal the flatbed glass, place the original on the flatbed glass, and use the control panel to adjust the copy or scan settings before finally pressing the final button.
The control panel lets you make necessary changes such as the number of copies, scan mode, scan quality, scan area (e.g., enabling Max Area or Auto Cropping), file destination (e.g., save a scan to a memory card), photo quality, and so on.
Epson RX650 supports direct printing from mobile phones that have an infrared port, but the phone must be within the signal range, which is up to 20 cm. After the phone is connected, up to 10 photos can be sent to the printer, which include the ones that are being printed.
The LCD screen also provides a quick access to the ink level information. When an ink cartridge is empty or low, you can click the icon that appears in the corner of the screen to see which one of the six ink cartridges that needs to be replaced.
The ink supply status can be checked anytime you want, so you don’t have to wait until there is a low or an empty ink cartridge. Keep in mind that print quality may decline if you use a six-month-old ink cartridge. Cleaning the print head may help. If it doesn’t help, you should replace the ink cartridge with a new one to get the best print quality.

Epson RX650 offers a decent performance in printing photos but its speed in printing documents is slow. Even printing mono pages at economy mode can only produce around 21 pages per minute. As for the copying and scanning, the speed are 21 cpm and 4.5 miliseconds per line at 600 dpi, respectively.
Whether it is printing, copying, or scanning, Epson RX650 provides a set of features that enable its users to do it in a standalone mode. You can click the link below to download Epson RX650 Driver for Windows:
