The Epson L375 is a 3-in-1 inkjet printer with a wireless connectivity support and refillable ink system. The latter provides enough capacity to print up to 7500 pages in color.
The best part of the ink system is that it offers a low cost per page for every print. On the downside, any printer with this system, including the L375, has a high initial price not because it is more sophisticated than cartridge-based printers but simply because of a business strategy to earn profit.
Features and Highlights
Low Cost Ink System
The box that Epson adds to the right side of the Epson L375’s body is the ink reservoir. The reservoir has a cover that you can open to reveal four refillable ink tanks, each with a cap that needs to be removed when you need to refill an empty one.
The design of the ink reservoir is better than that of some other ink tank printers that require you to unhook the reservoir for a refill. However, with the reservoir protruding from the right side, the width of the printer might make some users hesitate to buy it. The L375 measures 48.2 cm wide, 16.1 cm tall, and 30 cm deep. It weighs less than five kilograms.
Print, Scan, and Copy
The Epson L375 has a lid that opens to a glass surface where users can scan pages, one at a time. Unlike the printer that has an automatic sheet feeder, the scanner doesn’t have one. Placing a page on the glass surface is the only method available to digitize your documents.
To print pages, the printer provides a sheet feeder with a capacity that can hold up to a hundred sheets of plain paper. It can print on envelopes as well, but the sheet feeder can only hold ten envelopes at a time. The other paper types it supports include matte, glossy, semi glossy, and coated papers, to name some.
How much ink is used to print a page, as well as the content of the page, affects the time it takes for the printer to finish printing. To reduce the waiting time when you need a page to be printed out as fast as possible, users can reduce the amount of ink that is used to print by instructing the printer to print in draft mode.
The L375 supports duplex printing, but users need to flip paper manually for the printer to complete the print jobs. Whether you print on one side or both sides of a paper, the print speed is the same, which is approximately 33 pages or sides per minute.
Epson L375 Driver Free Download
When an external device, like the L375, is connected to a PC, both devices need a specific driver to bridge the communication between them. In the case of the printer, aside from acting as some kind of a translator, it also lets you access the L375’s functions through a well-designed interface.
