The Epson WF-7210 is an impressive wide format printer powered by a number of advanced technologies that complement each other to produce excellent results as quick as possible.

This is a single-function A3 printer, so as expected it requires plenty of desk space, but in exchange you get a solid performer running on high capacity ink cartridges with double paper trays, wireless connectivity support which include the Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, a duplexer, and the capability to handle paper in sizes up to 13 by 19 inches.

Paper Drawers

Compared to the Canon’s Pixma iX6820, which is also a wide format print-only unit, the Epson WF-7210 is significantly bulkier, but it is partly because the latter has to accommodate a paper capacity of 500 sheets split evenly between two paper drawers mounted in front, as well as a rear manual feed slot for printing on a single sheet.

The two paper drawers can be used to hold the same size of paper stock when you have a large print job that requires more paper than one drawer can handle, or different sizes of paper stock to avoid swapping out paper for everyday printing.

One-Sheet Manual Feed

The rear manual feed slot can also be used to print on a different size or type of paper that is different from the ones loaded in the front drawers. It’s easier to do this way than replacing the paper stock in one of the drawers, which takes a few steps to complete: open the drawer, remove the paper, load the paper you need into the drawer, and slot it back into the printer. On top of that, after you finish printing, you may need to reload the paper that you’ve just taken out before.
