The Epson TX200 is an old all-purpose printer released together with two similar models in the same year. The Epson Stylus TX400 is the most expensive of all three, while the TX200 and TX100 are the midrange and entry-level units, respectively.

Both the Epson TX400 and TX200 prints at a brisk pace of 34 pages per minute, while the entry-level unit is slightly slower at 26 pages per minute. You may be able to print at the same speed if your printing material is exactly the same as the one used by Epson to test the printers.

Scan and Copy Speeds

Even if you scan and copy occasionally, you may still want a printer that can do both tasks quick enough. In the case of the Epson TX200, this unit can copy black and color pages at 30 cpm.

Its scan speed depends on the selected scan resolution. Its mono scan speed for A4 pages is 2.2 milliseconds per line (300 dpi), 7.2 milliseconds per line (600 dpi), or 8.8 milliseconds per line (1200 dpi).
