The Epson M200 is an MFP unit with strong durability and large ink capacity to print thousands of monochrome pages. The latter also saves you from the hassle of frequent refilling.

The starter kit that comes bundled with the M200 includes an extra 70ml bottle of ink, which is not for sale, that complements the 140ml bottle of ink. Together they can be produced up to eight thousand pages.

Strong Performance

Print speed matters a lot in an office environment where everything related to work must be done with high efficiency. When it comes to printing documents, the M200’s quoted draft speed is 34 ppm.

Unlike the other M-series printers, which are the M100 and M105, this printer comes with a scanner topped with an ADF. To be precise, it’s a color scanner that can scan as fast as 2.2 milliseconds per line for monochrome scanning and 7.0 milliseconds per line for color scanning at 300 dpi.

If there are multi-page documents that need to be scanned, the ADF allows the machine to scan them without waiting for users to manually load each page. The ADF tray can fit up to 30 pages.

Convenient to Use

The 17.1-inch by 14.8-inch by 8.9-inch monochrome printer’s front panel features a simple 2-line LCD screen alongside some neatly organized physical buttons. These allow users to perform some tasks more conveniently like scanning and copying pages.

Paper output tray can also be considered as a form of convenience because it allows users to leave the printing unattended in a short while when printing many pages. Its maximum capacity is 30 sheets of plain paper, which is much fewer than the number of paper the input tray can handle.

Network Printing

Equipped with built-in Ethernet functionality, the M200 can be used as a shared printer in a workgroup so that pages can be printed from different computers, which can significantly improve work efficiency.

Wireless connection is, unfortunately, not supported. Users who require the latter should consider the Epson M205 instead.
