Carefully designed for printing both documents and photos, as well as scanning and copying pages, the Epson XP-452 is an elegant home office MFP. Its paper capacity is average but relatively sufficient for home printing.

Moreover, it has a healthy variety of features that makes it a highly competitive home printer. Its ink cartridges, though, may be seen as a disadvantage by some budget consumers. Design

One of the reasons why the Epson XP-452 can be so compact in size is the flatbed scanner that isn’t accompanied with an automatic sheet feeder, but this means scanning multipage documents would take longer because users have to do it one by one.

It has a front touch panel with a large color screen. To the right of the screen are the printer’s navigational buttons along with a few other buttons, and to the left of it are power button and home icon. The panel itself can be adjusted to the most convenient angle.

Direct Printing

There is a memory card slot at the front left of the XP-452, next to the output tray which slides out to print. It is compatible with SD, MiniSD, and MicroSD cards, along with their variants. The MicroSD cards require an adaptor, though, and unfortunately it isn’t included in the box, so you need to provide it on your own. The same thing goes for the USB cable.
