Clash of Clans has long been popular even before PUBG and Mobile Legends were released. It’s not the type of game full of adrenaline-pumping actions, but it is still an entertaining one to play nonetheless.

Single Player

Clash of Clans has a single player campaign where your enemies are Goblins. Even though you play alone, you still need an internet access to play the game.

The campaign has 90 levels, some of which are Payback, Goblin Forest, Goblin Outpost, Rocky Fort, and Goblin Gauntlet.

You can get more gems by completing the five achievements in the campaign: Get Those Goblins (35 gems), Get Those Other Goblins (170 gems), Get Even More Goblins (350 gems), Dragon Slayer (20 gems), and Ungrateful Child (20 gems).

Multiplayer

If you get bored battling against Goblins, there are many players worldwide that are eager to try to crush your village.

In multiplayer mode, players can attack each others to steal resources or just to have fun or for no reason at all.

Resources

You will need resources to build your village. There are currently eight resources in Clash of Clans. Gold, Elixir, and Gem are three of them that new players can collect as soon as they start the game.

A Gold Mine is required to collect golds and a Gold Storage is required to store the golds.

After you build a Gold Mine, you should also build an Elixir Collector and Elixir Storage to collect and store elixirs.

As for gems, they can be collected in various ways but the easiest one is to purchase them. Gems can be used to speed up building anything, especially for upgrades.

For example, an Elixir Collector, which normally takes sixty seconds for a builder to upgrade, can be upgraded instantly if you’re willing to spend just one gem.

However, gems are hard to collect unless you don’t mind spending real money to buy them, which is why some players prefer to use gems to build more Builder’s Huts than for anything else.

Defense

There are many types of defensive buildings you can build to defend your village from attacks. Cannon, Archer Tower, Mortar, Air Defense, and Hidden Tesla are just a few to name.

In addition to the defensive buildings, you will need to have army buildings as well, which include Army Camp, Barracks, Royal Champion Altar, Spell Factory, Dark Spell Factory, and Dark Barracks, among others.
