CarX Highway Racing is an immersive automobile racing that puts you behind the wheel of a fleet of fast cars to complete various missions, battle against car racers from around the world, catch traffic offenders, take part in various exciting events to obtain more stylish cars, escape a high-speed chase, or simply to drive your fast car on gorgeous landscapes.

CarX Technologies, the company that develops this game, has also created similar games, namely CarX Street, CarX Drift Racing 2, and CarX Rally, but none of these is as successful as CarX Highway Racing.

Game Controls

CarX Highway Racing offers three ways to control the car you’re driving. Connecting a gamepad to your phone may be the easiest of all, but if you don’t have the device, you can either tilt your phone left and right or use navigational buttons that appear on the left and right side of your screen.

If you choose to use the navigational buttons, you can drag each of them around the screen to arrange their position.

Your car also accelerates and shifts through gears automatically unless you switch to the manual acceleration mode. As for braking, you need tap in the center of your screen.

Game Modes

The car racing game features several game modes. In Long Trip, you drive a longer distance through various terrains until there is no fuel left or you reach the finish line. There are several checkpoints along the route that will fill in your fuel every time you cross one in time.

Campaign is the game’s mode that features a progression system that will immerse you in the world of street racing. There are times when you will be chased down by an army of patrol cars.

There are also Free Ride mode where you can drive your favorite car without worrying about cops and Police mode that gives you the chance to become a police who catches traffic offenders.

No less exciting is the Multiplayer mode where you can go online to race against real people. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to tell whether your opponents are real people or bots. Also, you and your opponents won’t be able to ram each other throughout the race.

Cars

CarX Highway Racing provides many stylish cars that are grouped in different classes. Expensive cars that have the highest performance are grouped in Class 6, which consists of Ultra RG, Espero 40, Vanguard F, Strifer X, GT, Renazzo, and Navis MR.
