Not everyone is tempted to buy a multifunction printer even though they can afford it. During printing, printed pages come out from the top, and are held temporarily by the output tray, which has a maximum capacity of 100 sheets.

One of the advantages of a printer that uses only one toner cartridge is the lower operational costs compared to a color printer that usually uses four or more cartridges. It also has a lower price. These are big pluses for anyone who’s focused on saving money as much as possible on printing.

Decent Performance

The Canon LBP2900B can print as fast as 12 A4 pages per minute under ideal conditions. Its FPOT time is about 9.3 seconds since the print data is received. There are many printers that have better print speeds, but the LBP2900B is worth the price.

USB Connectivity

The single-function has another drawback that can be a dealbreaker. It has no wireless connectivity support. All the printing is done through the USB connectivity. This means you can’t print from your mobile devices. This alone is enough of a reason for many people not to buy the Canon LBP2900B.
