The Epson SC-F9430H features fluorescent dye-sub ink and dual PrecisionCore TFP printhead to produce exceptional output. It has the same physical size and weight as its sibling but is faster at printing and packed with more outstanding features to fulfill more demanding printing needs.

It measures 2620 mm wide, 943 mm deep, and 1332 mm, with a weight of 290 kg without the ink cartridges. The large ink reservoir is located in front, allowing users to replace empty cartridges with ease. The ink supply system doesn’t come with a hot swap function, however, so checking the ink levels before printing is necessary.

Fluorescent Ink

In addition to the four ink cartridges (Magenta, High Density Black, Cyan, and Yellow) that can also be found in other textile printers, the Epson SC-F9430H also prints with two extra ink cartridges that include Fluorescent Pink and Fluorescent Yellow, each comes in a pouch that packs 1000 ml of ink.

These two are also of the same type as the other four colors. Each of the latter is conveniently packed in a pouch that holds 1100 ml of ink.

While the addition of two fluorescent ink cartridges improves the print quality, it comes with one downside: Higher ink cost.

Better Printhead

The Epson SC-F9430H uses the same type of printhead as the one used by the Epson SC-F9430, but they are a bit different from each other in terms of nozzle configuration.

The former uses two printheads with each having five channels of 3600 nozzles, while the latter has only four channels of 3600 nozzles for each of its printheads.

Better Print Speed

The machine prints faster than the Epson SC-F9430. Thanks to its printheads that have more nozzles and channels, the six-color textile printer can print as fast as 62 square meter per hour (2-pass printing at 360 dpi x 720 dpi), 32.1 square meter per hour (4-pass printing at 720 dpi x 720 dpi), 21.9 square meter per hour (6-pass printing at 720 dpi x 720 dpi), and 15.8 square meter per hour (8-pass printing at 720 dpi x 720 dpi).

Epson Edge Print Software

This is the companion software for the printer as well as other SureColor SC-S and SC-F Series printers. Not only it is rich with features but also easy to use. Users can even set up ten printers quickly by using this software, partly thanks to its integration with Epson Edge Dashboard.

In addition to the software, the printer also comes bundled with other easy to use software that include EpsonNet Print, Epson Control Dashboard, EpsonNet Config, and EpsonNet Setup, among others.
