The Brother MFC-J480DW is an ideal printer for home offices that need a compact unit that can also handle copying and scanning tasks. It is the paper capacity that makes it less ideal to be used as a shared printer in an office even though it supports wireless network.

The addition of an automatic document feeder doesn’t significantly impact the printer’s weight, which is at 16.8 pounds only. The former’s highest optical resolution is 1200 x 600 dpi, while the latter is equipped with an optical resolution of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi.
