The Epson TX510FN is an inkjet printer that uses five disposable ink cartridges and offers four core functions that include printing, copying, scanning, and faxing.
It supports Ethernet connectivity, automatic paper feeding for both printing and scanning, DURABrite Ultra ink cartridges, and ships with a software bundle to help users operating the printer such as Epson Event Manager, Online Guide, Epson Easy Photo Print, Epson Web-To-Page, and PC FAX Software.
Features and Highlights
Five Ink Cartridges
The Epson TX510FN uses five ink cartridges but four colors. Two of which are black ink cartridges. In other words, it provides more black ink to print and copy pages.
Every ink cartridge is individual cartridge. None of them is a tri-color cartridge, which many people dislike because it has a major disadvantage that can cause ink cost to be higher than expected.
Paper Handling
On top of the printer there is an automatic document feeeder (ADF). It can take up to thirty A4-sized originals. There is also a single main input where more than one hundred sheets of plain paper can be dropped into. As for the output tray, its paper capacity is less than that of the main input tray so you may have to empty it once or twice or more if you print a lot of documents.
Performance
The Epson TX510FN has a print speed of approximately thirty eight pages per minute for monochrome printing and approximately twenty pages per minute for color printing. Around forty nine seconds is the time it takes to print a 4R photo.
Its scan speed is 3.8 milliseconds per line at 1200 dpi or 11.2 milliseconds per line at 1200 dpi, depending on whether you perform a mono or color scan, the latter of which takes much longer to finish. As for copying pages, its maximum speed is more or less 38 cpm for mono pages and 12 cpm for color pages in draft mode. As you can see here, the Epson TX510FN has respectable print, scan, and copy speeds.
Why You Need Epson TX510FN Resetter
Ink pads are where excess ink is contained in the Epson TX510FN. They don’t affect how fast the device can print or how good the print quality is. They just there to do nothing more but to collect excess ink. Yet, the printer cannot function without them.
The Epson TX510FN will stop working when the ink pads reach their capacity limit. In addition to replacing the ink pads, you need to use a reset utility to unlock the printer. Since Epson seems to care more about making money than taking care of its customers who experience the ink pad issue, you should use this Epson TX510FN reset utility instead.

The developer has made this reset utility with simplicity in mind, but it is less intuitive than expected.
