The Epson L1455 is an inkjet-based multifunction device designed for offices requiring a large-format printer with a built-in scanner, but its speed is average. It’s not particularly fast, but it’s not slow either. On the upside, it has some premium office-centric features.

An ADF is included to complement the scanner, making it much easier to scan multi-page documents. It also supports A4 and A3 duplex printing. And if you need a fax machine, the printer has it covered for you as well.

Features and Highlights

Epson L1455

Automatic Document Feeder (ADF)

Imagine how tiring it would be to scan dozens of pages with just a flatbed scanner. That’s why it’s worth it to spend a few bucks more to get a printer with an ADF.

The component allows you to stack multiple originals in its tray. Once the scanning operation begins, it feeds them into the scanner automatically, one at a time.

Every time you’re going to scan with this printer, you can stack up to 35 pages. It’s not plenty, but enough for moderate scanning needs. And if you have some paper that need

A3 Duplex Printing

The Epson L1455 has an auto duplexer that supports printing double-sided pages, and it even handles documents as large as A3. ISO speed for duplex printing on A3 media is rated up to 6.0 ipm for color pages and 3.7 ipm for black pages. These speeds are reasonably slower than when it prints A4 pages.

Epson Connect

The A3 color printer supports Epson Connect, which is a suite of features to harness the power of wireless connectivity. With its Epson Email Print, print jobs can be sent from remote places. And with its Remote Print Driver, print settings can be adjusted without physically interacting with the device. It even has Scan to Cloud, which allows you to upload scans to the internet.

About Epson L1455 Resetter

Unlike some Epson printers, the Epson L1455 doesn’t use ink pads to manage waste ink. Instead, it uses a maintenance box. The problem is still the same, though. There is a hidden internal counter inside designed to halt the printer from doing its job based on an algorithmic estimation.

Epson claims it functions as a preventive measure to prevent ink leakage. The problem is the printer may stop working exactly at the moment when some pages must be printed out as soon as possible. It’s a relief that there are tools that provide a workaround, and this resetter is one of them.

If the Epson L1455 stops printing because of the internal counter, this means its maintenance box needs a replacement. But if you don’t have a backup around, you can make it work again by using this resetter.

It works by forcing the internal counter back to zero, all within minutes. After that, you can use the printer to print again. But keep in mind that this is only a temporary fix.

You’ll need to replace the maintenance box to get rid of the problem for real. You can click the link below to download Epson L1455 Resetter for Windows:
