Plants vs Zombies 2 puts your zombie survival skills to the test. In the game, you’re not a martial art expert with a sword or military personnel with a machine gun. Instead, you are a gardener who use your extensive knowledge of plants to fight against wave upon wave of zombies.

Released in 2013, the game is the sequel to Plants vs Zombies, but this time the fights against zombies take place 4500 years in the past just because a side character named Crazy Dave wants to eat another taco.

Deadly Plants

In the world of Plants vs Zombies 2, a large variety of plants can save you from hordes of hungry zombies.

At first you only have peashooters in your arsenal, but soon you will be able to plant sunflowers, spikerock, cherry bomb, wall-nut, bloomerang, gold leaf, pea pod, solar sage, power vine, and so on.

There are so many plants, each with its own strength and weakness, that it would be a challenge to remember every single of them.

Game Modes

As with its predecessor, Plants vs Zombies 2 also has several game modes to choose from. The Adventure mode is where you will have to travel to eleven worlds, one by one, and eliminates all the zombies that see you as nothing but a delicious meal.

The Arena mode gives you a chance to show off your skills in managing deadly plants by putting you up against an opponent. Whoever gains a higher score wins the match and is rewarded with five Crowns. The losing side gets a single crown as long as the player doesn’t surrender.

Endless Zone is a nonstop brutal war zone against a massive number of zombies. It’s called “endless” because there seems to be no end to the creatures. The zombies gets tougher the more you eliminate them.

Vasebreaker, as the name suggests, lets you break open vases to find items that can help you survive. This mode consists of six levels.
