In Otherworld Legends, you play as a warrior who wakes up in a dungeon full of rooms. You must travel from one room to another to find a way out, but you should stay alert while doing so since almost every room contains enemies.

Enemies Are Everywhere

They could be toads that attack you with acid, a polar bear, ninjas, floating creatures that fire off a beam, a sorceress who support other enemies, a large wild black bull, a knight with a big sword, or any other enemy.

You have to defeat the enemies to be able to move to the next room. This cycle will repeat until you find the room that contains the portal to go to the next level.

Special Attacks

Many enemies can be killed easily, but sometimes you will encounter strong enemies that may make you struggle to survive. In such situations, special attacks will come handy.

Special attacks can inflict more damage on enemies, but they should only be used when you are in a difficult situation because there is a cooldown period after each use.

Rooms

Not every room in Otherworld Legends is the same. There are rooms where you can upgrade your weapons, rooms that contain a chest guarded by multiple enemies, rooms where you can find a means to go to the next level, and other rooms that have different functions.

The most common ones are Enemy Rooms. As the name suggests, these rooms are littered with enemies, some of which are Elite or Champions. These two types of enemies are more powerful than the common enemies. The latter, however, only appear if you set the game’s difficulty level to at least Hard.

The only way to leave an Enemy Room is to kill all the enemies in that room. The doors in the room are all closed automatically after you enter it and they will stay closed until you defeat the enemies.
