Eyecon is an appealing alternative to the default dialer app on many Android phones. Rather than simply another caller ID, the developer describes it as a communication control center.

In addition to letting you know who’s calling you, the app can also block spams, perform a reverse lookup on a phone number, reply someone on WhatsApp without adding the caller on your contacts, connect to your Facebook account, and provide statistics on your phone calls.

Block Annoying Calls and Messages

Identify Incoming Calls

When a call comes in, the app will let you know who is calling by providing details such as the name and photo of the caller, which are displayed in full screen.

The app can still identify a call even if it comes from a phone number that is not in your contact list. The only exception is if the app doesn’t have any knowledge of the caller, which in this case the app will just display the phone number.

Reverse Look Up an Unidentified Phone Number

There is no doubt that the app must have a huge database of phone numbers, which is partly because it has been around for years. However, there is always a chance that you will get a call from an unknown number because the app lacks any information about it or fails to identify it for some other reason.

If this is the case, then you can use the app to do a reverse lookup on the phone number. Once the app finds the information, it will display the name, photo, and even the social accounts of the phone number’s owner on your screen.

Send Messages to Your Contacts

With a feature called Toki Walkie-Talkie, you can send voice messages quickly to anyone in your contact list.

Additionally, Eyecon can connect to WhatsApp and Facebook, allowing you to chat with your contacts on those two platforms without switching apps.
