1. The first step is to make sure that your antivirus is disabled. To do this, open Windows Security from the Start menu.

2. Click Manage settings.

3. Turn off every protection feature.

4. This is how it will look like after you disable the protection features.

5. Right-click on the compressed file, then select Extract Here. If you’re asked for a password, enter 123 and then click OK.

6. Open the extracted folder.

7. Double-click on Set-up.exe to run it.

8. Press the Accept button.

9. Go back to File Explorer and open the [ACTIVATION FOR ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR CS5] folder.

10. Double-click the text file to open it.

11. Select and copy one of the numbers.

12. Go back to the Adobe Illustrator CS5 window and paste the number into the text field, and then click Next.

13. Click the Install button.

14. If UAC (User Account Control) pops up, press Yes.

15. Wait until the installer finishes the installation.

16. Hit Done and you’re all set to go.
