1. Disable your antivirus before installing Foxit PDF Editor Pro. To do this, open Windows Security from the Start menu.

2. Click Manage settings.

3. Turn off all of the security options in the window.

4. Stop your internet connection.

5. Extract the ZIP file. The password is 123.

6. Double-click the extracted folder to open it.

7. Double-click on the installer.

8. Press Next.

9. Untick ‘Help improve user experience‘, tick ‘I accept the terms in the License Agreement‘, and press Next.

10. Press Install. Do not change the default installation location (unless you know what you’re doing) to prevent any confusion when activating the software later on.

11. Wait until the installation is completed. If UAC pops up during the progress, press Yes.

12. Uncheck ‘Launch Foxit PDF Editor‘, then press the Finish button.

13. Go back to the extracted folder and open the subfolder shown in the image below.

14. Copy the EXE file.

15. Go to this directory and paste the EXE file into it: C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor

16. Click ‘Replace the file in the destination‘.

17. Click Continue. If UAC pops up, press Yes.

18. Go back to the subfolder where you copy the EXE file from, then open the plugins subfolder.

19. Copy all the files.

20. Open this directory and paste all the files there: C:\Program Files (x86)\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Editor\plugins

21. Click ‘Replace the file in the destination‘.

22. Check ‘Do this for all current items‘, then click Continue. If UAC pops up, press Yes.

23. Foxit PDF Editor Pro is now successfully activated. You can launch and use it to edit your PDF documents.
