After successfully ending the life of his creator, Agent 47 decides to seek peace by retiring to a Sicilian church. Unexpected things happen, however, that leave him with no choice but to resume his life as a legendary hitman.

Agent 47 works for an organization that tasks him with various missions, most of which require him to kill high profile individuals. As a genetically engineered human, he is a very skillful assassin. He is resourceful and known as an expert in stealth killing.

Features and Highlights

For anyone who wants more missions to complete than the previous games, you are in for a treat. Hitman 2 – Silent Assassin is full of deadly missions, each of which has a number of objectives. Before you can begin assassinating anyone, however, you have to take the first mission which serves as a tutorial to get you familiar with how things work in the game. There is no target to kill here. All the mission demands from you is just doing some mundane activities, until the new friend of the main character is kidnapped.

The real action begins in the next mission where you have to save his friend, Father Emilio Vittorio, from the hands of the kidnapper, Giuseppe Guillani. In order to do save him, the kidnapper must be killed and the basement key must be located. The basement is the location where Father Emilio Vittorio is being held in captive.

If you are up for a more difficult challenge, you have to identify and kill the next target in the third mission within the allocated time, which is no more than five minutes. And you have to do it without harming the others who participate in the secret meeting that the target will attend to.

The fourth mission is still in Russia with two targets to kill, General Makarov and Igor Kubasko. The reason for the assassination, as stated by his contact, is that the other generals attending the secret meeting are investigating the assassination.

Another rescue mission is waiting for you to complete in the fifth mission. A fellow assassin who also works for the same organization as him has been captured and interrogated by a Russian general in an effort to unveil the truth behind the assassination that takes place in the third mission. The main objectives here are to kill the general and save the prisoner.

Despite a stealth game, you are free to take any measure to complete the objectives. You can use any possible method to kill the targets. It is the beauty of the sandbox game where you can freely interact with the game elements, making it possible for you to use a variety of methods to get things done.

There are twenty one missions in Hitman 2 – Silent Assassin and a lot of weapons, including a golf club that you can swing to an enemy’s head or throw somewhere as a distraction. It’s a weak weapon though, so you may need to swing it several times if your intention is more than just rendering the victim unconscious.
