Features and Highlights

Become a Legend is one of the game modes which has been made available since PES 2009, and it is still present in PES 2013. This mode is similar to Be a Pro mode in FIFA and Fantasista in Winning Eleven.

The mode’s gameplay in PES 2013 uses the same formula as that of PES 2010 but with some changes, such as the ability to select a mentor and player model. It supports three match levels which include Professional, Top Player, and Super Star.

Become a Legend allows you to choose between creating a new player or a real player. Building a career from scratch is a tedious yet rewarding process, but you can always choose to start off as a real player if you don’t want to spend too much time on it.

On the other hand, Master League is the game mode in PES 2013 that lets you focus on building the strongest team in history. This game mode has been around since 1999 when it was introduced in ISS Pro Evolution. In the beginning of Master League, everyone in the team wears plain boots, but you will get boots as you progress through the game. The boots will help boosting the performance of the team member who wears it.

In the Master League, there are items you can buy with points that you have earned during the game. Every purchased item can be assigned to one player. The item menu on each player has three slots and one boot slot, which means that three stat boosts and boots can be assigned to each player.

PES 2013 features various stadiums. Some are licensed and the rest are unlicensed. The licensed ones include Wembley Stadium, Old Trafford, La Rosaleda, Estadio Nuevo Los Cármenes, Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas, Estadio Jose de Alvalade, and Estadio do Morumbi, among many others.

A few of the unlicensed ones include Burg Stadion, Ville Marie Stadium, Bristol Mary Stadium, Mohamed Lewis Stadium, and Estadio De Escorpiao.

The training mode is where those who are new to the game can get familiar with the game’s controls. The mode shows which buttons to press to execute an action. There is also a list of training objectives that the player can complete.
