Tekken 5 – PS2 ISO & ROM (Game Download)

Tekken 5 was made for arcade first before ported to PlayStation 2 in February 2005. The gameplay is a mixture between those of Tekken 3 and Tekken 4. After some negative feedbacks on Tekken 4, the developer of the franchise decided to remove some of its major changes. A decision which earned gratitude from the fans.

The new changes in Tekken 5 include the ability for the players to change the characters’ clothes. There are also seven new characters that participate in the tournament. So far the game has been sold for over eight million copies.

Features and Highlights

The Ranking system makes its first appearance in Tekken 5 with Tekken Lord being the highest rank. Winning a fight will earn a rank. Losing a fight will lose a rank. The ranks can be obtained by winning either an online match or an offline match. The former will put up the player against computers, while the latter will set the player to have matches with other players.

Of all the available characters, Anna Williams is a highly trained assassin that has mastered several martial arts. The one who teaches her the assassination art is her own father. Her rivalry with her sister, Nina Williams, turns into a bloody revenge after the murder of her fiancee. Unlike her sister’s fighting style which is more influenced by their father’s martial art, Anna leans more to Aikido’s techniques taught by her mother.

Same as Anna who appears in Tekken 5 but absent from Tekken 4 is Ganryu. He is a tall man and a talented Sumo. His reason for participating in the tournament is simply because he is mad in love with the daughter of a woman who has rejected his love before. Her name is Julia Chang and she enters the tournament for recovering some data. He believed that she would reciprocate his feelings if he helps her recover the data.

Baek Doo San is a character whose life is full of tragedy. His father becomes an alcoholic after injury that ends his career in Taekwondo, which in turn leads his family falls into poverty. Unable to cope with the financial situation, his mother leaves him. One day Baek even kills his father accidentally.

Paul Phoenix is a hotheaded character who used to believe that he is the strongest in the universe and therefore joined the previous tournament to prove it. But, he got defeated instead. The defeat makes him realize that he was overconfidence, and now he joins the fifth tournament with a new mentality.

Overall there are 32 characters in the game. Baek, Anna, Bruce, Ganryu, Eddy, Kuma, Mokujin, Panda, and Wang are the unlockable characters. Every single of them has a background story.

Same as Panda and Kuma, which is a bear, Mokujin is a nonhuman entity, but it is not an animal. It is a training dummy that came to life because of the evil that was released upon the world when the God of Fighting awoke. On the whole, Tekken 5 is an impressive fighting game, and the addition of the ranking system makes it even more exciting to play.
