The Blacklist is a list containing the names of the most respected racers in Rockport city. In Career mode, the player’s mission is to defeat all the racers whose names are listed in the Blacklist. However, there are certain conditions that must be met before a Blacklist racer can be challenged.

Of all the available game modes, the Career is the perfect mode for players who want to race following a storyline and get chased down by the police. When the player is in pursuit, it seems that every police officer in the city tries very hard to catch the player. The car performance is an important factor that can help the player escaping the pursuit, but the driving skills matters much more. The ability to observe the map and takes the best routes for escaping are also no less important.

Quick Race is a mode where the player can participate in a race event immediately. Six race events are available ranging from Circuit to Tollbooth. Challenge Series is the best event for player who is up for a challenge. There are more than 60 events in the Challenge Series, 68 of which are regular events while the other two are special events with more difficult missions.

Cars can be upgraded during the freeroam gameplay to improve its performance. Its appearance can also be customized not just to make it looks more beautiful but also to reduce its pursuit heat level
