Midnight Club 3 – DUB Edition Remix is an enhanced version of Midnight Club 3 – DUB Edition. Released within the same year as the original title, it has more vehicles, licensed songs, race events, and battle maps. Tokyo city is also added into the game.

The game has 124 music tracks in total, which come from various musical artists such as Lil Wayne, Deep Blue, Jimmy Eat World, and Army of the Pharaohs, among others. 99 tracks are from the original title, while the rest are new tracks that are made for the enhanced version.

Features and Highlights

Every city and vehicle in the original title can be found in Midnight Club 3 – DUB Edition Remix. The game data from the original title can also be imported to the enhanced version, so the player doesn’t have to start from the beginning.

The original title is known to be the first in the series that includes licensed real life cars. In the enhanced version, more than twenty cars are added into the list of the vehicles which are divided into classes based on their performances.

The player can have more cars unlocked by winning races. The cars can be customized by adding new paints and changing wheels, among other things.

The plot begins in San Diego where the player meets a mechanic of a tuning garage whose name is Oscar. He becomes the one who provides a lot of information to the player during the game.

In the beginning of the game, there are seven cars that the player can choose from. Six of them are imported from the original title, and one more car is added as an extra in Midnight Club 3 – DUB Edition Remix.

Each of the cars has its own price. For example, the Mitsubishi Eclipse is available for purchase at $21,200, while the Dodge Neon SRT-4 is priced no less than $21,400. The new car in the Remix edition is Scion tC, a compact car sold at a lesser price than the two cars. The default color of the car is white, which can be changed easily by pressing some buttons.

When choosing a car, the player can see the technical information about its top speed, acceleration, and handling. The Volkswagen Golf R32 has a good top speed and handling but poorer acceleration than that of Dodge Neon SRT-4.

In order to be able to participate in bigger race events, the player must build a reputation first. The first step is to defeat all of the street racers in San Diego. After successfully accomplishing the feat, Oscar will recommend the player to go to Atlanta where more races are waiting to be conquered.
