Hitman – Blood Money is a part of the Hitman game series that give you the chance to live a life as an assassin, and it’s not just an ordinary assassin, but a genetically enhanced assassin that makes him superior to normal human. The employers of the assassin called their creation Agent 47.

The employers are united under an organization known as International Contract Agency (ICA). One of their contract killers is Agent 47 that has been proven to be very reliable in completing various dangerous missions. The biggest challenge in this game is that the assassinations should be done as stealthy as possible.

Features and Highlights

The first contract that Agent 47 receives is to assassinate the owner of the Baltimore Southland Amusement Park named Joseph Clarence. Because of an operational failure in his amusement park, around 36 people are killed. The families of the victims sue him, but the court frees him from the charge. One of those families cannot accept the decision and asks the Agency to show Joseph the photograph of a young boy before killing him.

After completing the first mission, which is a tutorial level, Agent 47 must kill an individual, as well as his 37 year old son, who owns a cocaine factory. The mission details also include an escape plan in the form of a seaplane. Overall there are three objectives in this mission that you must complete flawlessly.

Curtains Down is the title of the next mission which also includes three objectives. There are two targets to kill. One is an opera actor and the other is an American ambassador. Agent 47 must travel to Paris to complete the mission.

The next assignment is to rescue an individual as well as to kill at least one of the three targets who are members of the mafia. The individual to be rescued is Agent Smith who is held in captive and tortured after his cover is blown. He is the one who knows which of the targets that must be prioritized to be eliminated.

Agent 47 can use a large variety of weapons such as shotgun, fiber wire, M4 assault riffle, silverballer, syringe sedative, snub nosed revolver, elephant rifle, and more. There are also obtainable melee weapons in a number of missions which include a kitchen knife, stun gun, cane sword, and baseball bat, among other things.

Hitman – Blood Money introduces a lot of improvements. The main character can now throw his weapon to distract enemies’ attentions, throw a knife to kill an NPC (Non-Playable Character), climb certain obstacles without a button press, get cash and rating for the rewards, hide bodies, and move sneakily when crouching.

While many features have been improved, there are also some features that are removed from Hitman – Blood Money. For example, if Agent 47 knocks out an NPC, they cannot awake on their own anymore. Without the help of a security guard, the NPC will be unconscious until you complete the mission.  Also, if you try to control Agent 47 to walk backward, you will find out that the character can no longer do that anymore.
